The new front door is AI
For two decades, the search bar that mattered was Google. Google still matters — but it's not the only front door anymore.
82% of buyers and sellers used AI for housing info in 2025 — 67% on ChatGPT, 54% on Gemini
81% growth in traffic to the top AI tools in a single year
62% still trust a real estate agent as the most accurate source
AI is the new front door. Google is still the second one. You're still the expert. The question is whether either of them can actually find you to recommend you.
Here's the uncomfortable truth: being great at selling houses and being findable online are two completely different skills. This lesson is how you build the second one — without a paid ad budget, without an SEO budget, without fighting Google for page one.
The good news: every move in this lesson feeds both
Same work, two wins. The keyword list, the long-form bio, the cleaned-up profiles, the blog posts, the reviews brought home — all of it makes you more visible to AI search AND to traditional Google search. Ranking on Google is the hardest game in real estate (98.8% of agents aren't winning it). Getting recommended by AI is the easiest win nobody's claimed yet. You don't have to choose. The same work feeds both.
Now that you have your Brand DNA from Becky, the work is fast. Cami is going to help you build it.
False comforts
Most agents think they're already covered. They're not. Here's why:
What you might think
"My brokerage lists me."
“Social makes me visible."
"I rank on Google."
"I have 250 Zillow reviews."
What AI actually sees
Their site is dynamic code. AI can't read it.
AI can't read your feed or your stories.
AI doesn't crawl the way Google does.
AI can't see a single one.
The brokerage trap: Compass, Sotheby's, Berkshire Hathaway — most big brokerage sites run on dynamic code AI can't read. Own your own domain. It's the only profile you control, and the only one that survives a brokerage change.
How AI actually works
It's a librarian indexing printed books. Not a person scrolling a feed.
AI doesn't rank by clicks or backlinks. It synthesizes trusted, static text to answer a question. It only reads what's sitting still on the page. The moving parts? It skips them entirely.
That's why your strategy can't be "post more on Instagram." Post more on IG and you might win Instagram. AI still can't find you.
What AI can + can't read
AI CAN'T READ:
MLS / IDX listings
Private + personal social
Stories + disappearing posts
The live scrolling feed
Dynamic brokerage pages
Zillow reviews
AI CAN READ:
Your site + bio / About page
Blogs + articles
Google Business Profile
LinkedIn profile + newsletters
YouTube + podcast descriptions
Public posts from pro Instagram + Facebook accounts (new in 2025)
The rule: the more searchable text tied to your name and your market, the more findable you are. Own the source. Rented visibility can vanish overnight.
Three rules of AI-readable content
Every piece of content you build from here on needs to be:
Static
Text that sits still on a page you own. → Personal website + blog, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, YouTube/podcast descriptions. Not posts that scroll away.
Structured
Laid out so a skimming robot gets it. → Real headers, short paragraphs, plain keyword phrases. Write "Portland relocation + downsizing agent," NOT "your dream home journey starts here."
Specific
Names, cities, niche, numbers. This builds your entity in AI's index. → "Rebecca Green. Portland + Lake Oswego. 1,500+ homes sold. Relocation + downsizing." Every detail is a data point AI can grab and repeat.
Hold these three rules in your head for every section that follows. Static. Structured. Specific.
Four assets you're building with Cami
Cami takes your Brand DNA and turns it into the four core online-presence assets that make you AI-findable, search-findable, and human-trustworthy:
A keyword list so search engines and AI know who you are
A long-form bio for your website, brokerage profile, Zillow, and anywhere else you need to show up as the expert
An Instagram profile that converts scrollers into leads
A clean audit of every platform you're on so they all sound like one consistent person
You'll work with Cami for each. Brand DNA is the foundation — paste it in once and she carries it forward through every prompt.
👉 Launch Cami: Cami — Your Content Creator (opens in ChatGPT)
Always start your Cami session by pasting your Brand DNA and saying:
"Use this as my Brand DNA for everything we create together."
1. Your keyword list (the foundation everything builds on)
Keywords are the bridge between what your ideal client is searching for and what you want them to find — you. Without them, you're invisible. With them, you show up everywhere they look — including inside AI's answer.
Find your starting list (5 minutes, manual):
Go to Google.com
Type a phrase your ideal client might use (e.g., "Best Portland neighborhoods for families")
Scroll to the People Also Ask section — those are real questions being typed in every day. Save them.
Repeat for each type of buyer or seller you work with — first-timers, investors, downsizers, relocators.
Then ask Cami to expand it:
"Give me 15–20 SEO-friendly keyword phrases tailored to real estate in [your city/market]. Include first-time buyer phrases, investor phrases, relocation phrases, and luxury/acreage phrases. Mix short tail and long tail."
Where to use the list: bios (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Zillow), video titles, blog posts, podcast descriptions, email subject lines, captions. Google rewards clarity and repetition. So does AI. Same keyword list, two visibility wins. Reuse them often. Save your list in a Google Doc titled "My Real Estate Keywords" and add to it weekly.
2. Your long-form bio
This becomes your go-to for your website, brokerage profile, Zillow, and any platform where you show up as the expert. This is the specific piece of the three rules — Rebecca Green. Portland + Lake Oswego. 1,500+ homes sold. Relocation + downsizing.
Ask Cami:
"Write me a high-converting real estate agent bio that positions me as the go-to expert in [your market/city]. My specialty is [niche]. I have [X years] of experience and have helped [X number] of clients. I differentiate myself through [your UVP from your Brand DNA]. Make it engaging, results-driven, and speak directly to potential clients. Concise but impactful. Include a strong CTA. Professional but approachable. Emphasize credibility, trust, and results."
Then refine. Ask Cami to change the tone, add detail, shorten it, lengthen it. Stalk your competitors' bios and ask Cami to make yours sharper. The work you do here carries through everything else — take your time.
For character-limited platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Realtor.com bio fields): ask Cami to shorten the bio to a specific character count while keeping the core positioning intact.
3. Your Instagram profile
Instagram is your digital first impression for humans. And in 2025, posts from pro Instagram accounts are crawlable by AI — so this section matters on both sides.
The setup:
Take a screenshot of your current IG profile (bio, profile pic, highlights, link in bio).
Upload it to Cami.
Then paste this prompt:
"Audit my Instagram profile as a real estate agent. Break down each section with the goal of attracting more ideal clients in my local market.
Analyze the following:
Name Field — suggest a keyword-rich version that includes my full name and niche (city/market, property type, target audience)
Username — does it align with my brand? Suggest improvements
Bio — rewrite it to be clear, confident, and high-converting. Speak directly to my ideal clients and include a bold CTA
Profile Photo — assess whether it's professional, friendly, and trustworthy. Offer suggestions
Link in Bio Strategy — does it align with my CTA? Suggest improvements to drive more conversions
Story Highlights — recommend five high-impact highlight categories that showcase my expertise. Use short, brand-aligned titles
Pinned Posts — recommend three types of pinned posts that would establish authority, show proof, and create connection
Hashtags + Keywords — provide 15–20 SEO-friendly keywords and hashtags tailored to real estate in [city/area]
Bonus: suggest one immediate change I can make today to increase profile engagement or lead flow."
Keep asking Cami questions. Refine until your IG actually reflects who Becky helped you become.
If your account is still personal: convert to a Pro / Business account so the static text on your profile becomes crawlable.
4. Audit the rest of your online presence — and be the same person everywhere
Studies show you have five seconds to make an impression on a human. AI doesn't blink — but it does cross-check.
AI builds your entity by cross-checking the whole web for consensus. It trusts the story it sees repeated. So your job here is to say the same thing, every platform.
On every profile, you want:
Full name + markets
Years + homes sold
Brokerage + niche
Same headshot everywhere
Reviews (we fix where those live in a minute)
Your core keyword phrases
Use the same email address everywhere. That's how platforms match and sync your data (especially Zillow + MLS).
Get listed where AI cites
AI shows its work. Go be on the sources it quotes.
Run this in ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude:
"Best [niche] agent in [your market]. Cite your sources."
Whatever sites it pulls from — go claim a complete, consistent profile on each.
Real estate sites first: Zillow · Realtor.com · Homes.com · Redfin · FastExpert · RateMyAgent · HomeLight · EffectiveAgents · Bankrate
Then the directories AI cross-checks: Google Business Profile · Yelp · Bing Places · LinkedIn · Facebook Page · BBB · Nextdoor
Same name, same market, same niche — on every single one.
Start at the MLS
Many third-party sites autopopulate from your MLS — clean up your profile there first and the rest cascade.
Bring your reviews home
This is the one most agents miss — and it's free leverage.
You might have 250 reviews on Zillow, 78 on Realtor.com, 10 on your own site.
AI can read the 10. It cannot see the other 328.
Fix this in an hour:
Copy your best 10–20 reviews onto your own site or blog. Post them to LinkedIn.
The second you do, they become:
Static + indexable — AI can finally read them
Tied to your name, your market, your expertise
Yours — protected if you ever switch brokerages
Make them work harder:
Add intro context: "Here's what clients say about working with me in [city]."
Use keywords: cities + neighborhoods, your niche, your stats
Add a human note on each: "What I loved about this transaction..."
Put 10–20 on one page for longevity
A reviews page on your own site doubles as Google SEO gold — original text, your name, your market, social proof. Two visibility wins from one hour of work.
Your Google Business Profile
Fully fill out your Google Business Profile. A complete one lifts your AI mentions 20–35%. Free money.
Fill in everything: business name (consistent with everywhere else), categories, service areas, hours, photos, services, posts, FAQs. Then ask happy clients to leave Google reviews — those are crawlable.
Write your first three blog posts
You don't need a fancy site. You don't need a mansion. You need a mailbox with your name on it.
AI cares that you own original, crawlable text tying your name, city, and expertise together. One blog page can do it: static, indexable, timestamped. Your digital resume.
Start with two or three short posts. Have Cami write the first drafts in your voice (paste your Brand DNA in first):
"Buying a Home in [your town]"
"Moving from [city A] to [city B]"
"How to Prep Your Home for Market in [your town]"
Each one tells AI: this person is the expert, here, for these people. And each one is a blog post Google can also index — local keywords, your name, your market, original text. The same three blog posts are doing AI work AND SEO work at the same time.
Visual identity — the simple version
You don't need a custom website or a designer to look consistent. You need:
One primary brand color + two accent colors
One or two brand fonts for everything
Three to five style themes to anchor your visuals (luxe, coastal, modern, earthy — whatever fits your DNA)
A Canva brand kit that holds all of it so every graphic you make starts on-brand
Make your email signature, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google profile feel like they belong to the same person. That's the bar.
The through-line is your Brand DNA
Everything we just built is the wiring. Your Brand DNA (from the last lesson, with Becky) is the current that runs through it.
The wiring — your site, bio, blogs, reviews, directory profiles
The current — your message: who you are, who you serve, what sets you apart
Vague message in → generic everywhere — the robot grabs the cousin. Sharp message in → every post, bio, review, and profile points AI at the same you.
That sameness across the web is what makes AI confident enough to say your name.
Run every tactic on this checklist without a clear message and you're just broadcasting fuzz really efficiently. Nail the Brand DNA. The whole system lights up.
The whole system
No single move wins on its own. Getting found by AI is the sum of the moving parts:
☐ Clear Brand DNA
☐ Static, crawlable content (website, blog posts)
☐ Consistent profiles everywhere
☐ Reviews brought home
☐ Content produced week after week
Miss a piece and the system leaks. Run them together and you become the obvious answer.
The open lane
98.8% of agents aren't ranking on Google. That's the hardest game in real estate. Getting recommended by AI is the easiest win nobody's claimed yet.
Same work feeds both. One's a knife fight. This one's an empty highway. Go grab the lane before it fills up.
Agents who make themselves indexable will dominate the next decade of discovery.
Your next move
Open Cami, paste your Brand DNA in, and run the four passes — keywords → bio → IG audit → full presence audit.
Update one platform per day for a week until everything matches.
Bring 10–20 of your best reviews home onto your own site or blog.
Fully complete your Google Business Profile — every field, every detail.
Have Cami draft your first two or three blog posts using the templates above.
Build out your Canva brand kit so every future visual starts already on-brand.
Consistency is the shortcut to trust. Once everything online sounds like one consistent person — to humans AND to AI — marketing stops feeling like a chore and starts compounding on itself.
